Apart from being one of Maui’s most culturally significant sites, the I‘ao Needle is a great stop because it’ll show you a different side of Maui. Chances are, your visit will include a stay on Maui’s sun-drenched leeward shores, like Ka‘anapali or Wailea. The I‘ao Valley, on the other hand, is known for passing showers. But without the showers, the mountain side wouldn’t be so damn green. So enjoy a quick look at the I‘ao Needle and Valley in Central Maui.
